It seems strange that he would do such a light and happy jump for the trailer if Steel Wool was supposed to make him look scary. When we see him he actually seems kinda happy and joyful and it really shows compared to the menacing and scary vibe of all of the other animatronics. I also think that the Sun is a good character and maybe even the save point. They both appear in the ball pit area, (The moon in the jungle gym and the sun in the ball pit) both areas that are very simar (also notice how the moon is always in a dark room while the sun appears when the room is lit up). The second reason is the areas they appear in the gameplay trailer. Two people, complete opposites of each other, yet they share the same body. This could also mirror the Security guard and Vanney. This makes me belive that maybe the developers at Steel wool studios made it so that the 2 animatronics are the Ying and Yangs of each other, only they share a body. If you look at the Sun animatronics face, you can still see the Moon's face and vice versa. I find it strange how even though they are two different things, their faces are exactly the same.
I have a cool theory (really more of a hypothesis) that the Moon and Sun animatronics are the same things.
